Let’s question some of the stories we tell ourselves. Anything sound familiar?

Let’s make some quick changes:

  1. If you find yourself grabbing take-out again, do your best to get some fresh fruit and veggies on the table- or in the snack bag.

  2. Meal time fights are awful. Fruits and veggies have different tastes and textures depending on many factors- so go easy on your kids (& yourself!) and keep trying!

  3. Skipping vegetables and taking a supplement is not what your body wants. Our bodies recognize vegetables as food; they’re full of fiber, nutrients, antioxidants, provide energy and help you feel full.

  4. Concern about microplastics is real. Find three ways to reduce your exposure- stop using plastic water bottles, skip the plastic bags for produce, and stop using plastic cutting boards.

  5. You bought the gym membership. You aren’t using it. Write down 3 reasons you want to go. Ideally, go with a friend. Schedule times in your week to go- and treat them like any other appointment.
